Got it last year! Just finished with the tattoo when the picture was taken.

Too many meanings behind why I got it.. Glad I did though!

--

Just for Everyone who keeps asking & saying..

Did it hurt? No, if it was any closer to my hand it would have!

"That will look ironic when you're dead." Yes I understand that, am I dead now though? NO. It symbolizes my life, what I've been through & why I am still alive TODAY.

"That's not what a good EKG looks like." Yes I know!! Kind of plays into the symbolism!

This is really cool. Its hows that you have been through something but have made it and you're happy about it. So simple yet effective, awesome!

I think it's beautiful. No matter what anyone says. I hated myself when I cut, and I plan on (when i have the money) getting my first tattoo right over my scars. It will hopefully be symbolic of my realization that I'm loved, and a tribute to the TWLOHA movement. To all those still fighting, stay strong, and to those who have recovered and overcome. You are true fighters.

This got my attention. I'm a physician & I can't look at that without trying to reach for a syringe. You are living art.
